SERVICE REQUEST

C&D
John on location patrolling the area and noticed construction debris, including boards and demolished wood, at the curbside. A history check revealed an education for a broken cart in October 2023. John knocked on the  customer’s door but received no response. John left an educational booklet on proper disposal of construction debris. John will follow up on 07/26/24.

 

YARD WASTE
John on location patrolling and observed yard waste (tree branches) at the curbside that was not properly prepared for collection. A history check showed no previous educational notices. John spoke directly with the customer and explained the correct preparation of yard waste using an educational flyer. The customer understood the instructions and agreed to follow them and take the waste to the landfill. John will follow up on 07/18/24.

CART OUTSIDE
John on location patrolling at 11:45am  and observed one trash cart and one recycle cart at the curbside during the prohibited period. A history check showed a previous warning for the same violation in September 2023. John left an educational booklet highlighting the restricted period, along with a door hanger notice. As John was leaving, someone mentioned that the house is unoccupied. John will follow up on 07/18/24.

 

IRRIGATION
John on location patrolling and observed irrigation running during the prohibited period. A history check showed a previous warning for yard waste in 2022. John left an educational booklet highlighting the restricted irrigation times: no irrigation on Fridays and none between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. John will follow up on 07/24/24 at 3:30 PM.

 

BROKEN CART
John on location patrolling and observed a 78-gallon trash cart with a broken lid at curbside.  A history check showed no previous educational notices. John placed an informational sticker on the cart explaining how to request repairs or a replacement.

 

DRYER
John on location patrolling and observed a dryer at the curbside that was not scheduled for collection. A review of the history indicated no previous education on this matter. John left an educational booklet outlining the proper methods for disposing of white goods.

 

HAZARDOUS WASTE
John on location patrolling and observed hazardous waste placed at curbside. A check of history revealed an education for yard waste in June 2023. John knocked at the customer’s door and the customer came out and  the process of how to dispose of hazardous waste was explained to the customer. Left an educational flyer highlighting the location to dispose the hazardous waste.

 

 

PLASTIC BAG
John on location patrolling and  observed yard waste placed in a plastic bag, not properly prepared for collection. A check of history revealed an education for C&D in June 2023. John left an educational booklet explaining how to properly prepare yard waste. John will recheck on 07/16/24.

 

FURNITURE
John on location patrolling and observed sofa mixed with yard waste that were not properly prepared for collection. A review of the history showed no previous education on this matter. John left an educational booklet outlining how to prepare yard waste and dispose of brown goods. John will recheck on 07/30/24.

4 TIRES
John on location patrolling and observed four tires placed at the curbside that were not scheduled for collection. A review of the history showed no previous educational notice on this matter. John left an educational booklet explaining how to dispose of the tires. John will schedule them for collection on 07/24/24.

Joe on location patrolling and observed construction debris consisting of boards and other demolishing woods at the curb side. A check of history revealed on education for broken cart in October of 2023. Joe  knocked at the customer door but no response. Left an educational booklet on how to dispose of construction debris. Joe will recheck on 07/17/24
